Separate the yolks from the egg whites.
We mix the walnuts together with the flour and the baking powder separately in a bowl.
Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt. When they have doubled in volume and are frothy, add the sugar. Beat until the sugar melts and the crystals are no longer felt.
Add the yolks and incorporate.
Add a tablespoon of the walnut, flour and baking powder mixture and incorporate, stirring from the bottom up as easily as possible.

Let the cream cool, necessarily covered.
When it is very well cooled, add the whipped cream and mix it with the mixer until you get a fluffy and quite strong cream.
We cut the top into four equal parts.
Divide the cream into 4 parts and assemble the cake.
It should be refrigerated for at least 2 hours before serving.
In Bucatarie La Sidy
One of the best cakes I've ever made, super delicious believe me!
It is a delicious dessert for any birthday occasion or for a sweet weekend.
We need :
- for the countertop
6 tablespoons sugar
5 tablespoons starch Dr. Oetker
1 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 sachet baking powder
- for meringue:
6 egg whites
80 g old powder
2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- for cream:
200 g powdered vanilla flavored Dr. Oetker
4 sachets of vanilla sugar
50 ml milk
1 packet of butter-200g
1 box Cremsnit Dr Oetker Cream
- for the glaze:
1 envelope glaze Duo Dr Oetker
Method of preparation :
For Countertops separate the egg whites from the yolks, at the 6 eggs, then the egg whites with a pinch of salt, beat them well, then add the sugar, continuing to mix until the foam hardens.
Gradually add the yolks, sifted flour impregnated with baking powder and cocoa.
In a 35 X 27 cm tray we put baking paper or a silicone sheet and turn the top that we put in the preheated oven at 160 degrees C for about 25 minutes.
Then put the meringue over and bake for another 20 minutes or so.
prepare marshmallow thus: we beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, we add the lemon juice and the sugar and we mix until the foam is made again. We also added a few spoons of green coconut, for a more pleasant color, but it is not obligatory.
Put the meringue over the half-baked top, for another 20 minutes or so.
After they are baked, let them cool on a grill and prepare the cream as follows: Mix the yolks with the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and milk on a bain-marie until the weather is thicker. Let the cream cool completely.
Mix the butter well with the foam and add the COLD cream spoon by spoon until we put it all on.
We give the weather obtained cold, until it hardens again.
Anyone can replace the cream with a cream made according to the instructions on the box of Cremsnit cream from Dr Oetker. that's in case you're in a hurry.
Then we move on to assembling cakes. Grease the baked and cooled countertop with cold cream and grate chocolate or put on top glaze made according to the instructions on the envelope.
Let the cake cool again to harden the icing.
Then we can slice the cake and place it on a plate.
We have a little work to do with it, but believe me it's worth it.

What do you eat, Alexandra?
One of my favorite cakes, fragrant, fluffy and flavorful, with crunchy raw sugar icing.
Ingredients for 1 small tray 21 x 28 cm:
The units of measurement I use:
1 cup = 200 ml
1/2 cup = 100 ml
1/3 cup = 75 ml
1 tablespoon = 15 ml
1 teaspoon = 5 ml
The quantities given are for wholemeal Terra Natura wheat flour.
I also tried with Bio All Green whole wheat flour and it requires more liquid, if you use it add 2 tablespoons of vegetable milk.
You may need to adjust the amount of vegetable milk for other types of flour. The dough must be able to be poured.
- 2 dogs of wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (1 + 1/2 if you like more intense cinnamon taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raw sugar (add it to the wet ingredients to dissolve it)
- 2/3 cup unrefined canola oil / grape seed oil / refined sunflower oil (approx. 130ml)
- 3/4 cup unsweetened soy milk (150 ml)
- 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar - will not taste like vinegar cake, it is used to make tender cake, as an egg substitute (more info here)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts larger (replace with almonds or pecans if you do not have Romanian nuts)
- 2 large apples or 3 small apples peeled and given on a large grater (1 + 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 crushed raw sugar
- 1 + 1/2 tablespoon soy milk
- Baking paper
Necessary equipment and utensils:
Coffee grinder to make powdered sugar.
1. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients using a whisk until well blended
2. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients using the whisk until well blended
3. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ones, stirring constantly until combined.
Do not mix too much and do not use the mixer.
4. Add the walnuts and grated apples and stir until incorporated. Do not mix excessively, otherwise you risk getting a sticky countertop.
5. Pour the baking sheet covered with baking paper
6. Depending on how fast you hurry you can choose the baking temperature:
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Bake the cake for 50 minutes we do not open the oven door.
At 180 degrees it takes 40 minutes and it comes out just as delicious. Do not open the oven door during baking.
After time has passed, check with a toothpick if it is ready. The toothpick must come out clean.
7. While the top is in the oven, prepare the icing by mixing the ingredients with a spoon.
A thick, homogeneous paste should come out that can be easily spread - adjust the quantities if necessary.
8. Add the icing while the cake is still warm and leave it to cool for 30 minutes, during which time the icing will harden.
